Days 31 and 32 – In and around Lexington

On Saturday, Russ drove us to town, where he had some errands to do, and he also took us to the grocery store. He also drove us to see Goshen Pass, a beautiful river gorge in the area. We also stopped by to see his friend John Mason, who happened to be working outside on a sculpture as we drove by.

In the afternoon, we biked a few miles back toward Lexington again, since Katie, Elizabeth’s sister, drove down from Maryland to spend the weekend with us. We spent most of the weekend driving into Lexington to eat.

On Sunday, we also went back to Russ’s and take a hike on his neighbor’s very neat property. We also met Russ and his neighbor Marilyn for dinner on Sunday.

There was a King Kong sculpture by the diner in front of our hotel.
